Whenever some natural disaster like Floods, Drought, Cyclone, Tsunami or Valcona takes place in one or the other part of the world, particularly in India or the neighouring countries, it can be observed that many Astrological Magazines and/or Vaasthu Experts and some media try to attribute it to the planetary positions and try out an astrological reason for such a happening.
Disasters do happen. There might be astrological indicators for such incidents also in certain cases.
But, as an Astrologer, it is not the duty of any Astrologer to propagate an astrological reason for it. There is no reliable evidence and there can not be any reliable evidence in Astrology indicating the disaster.

An Astrologer or Vaasthu Expert need not necessarily have knowledgeable reasons for a natural disaster.
Several such explanations by Astrologers or Vaasthu Experts fail to satisfy common senses.
In my humble opinion, the natural disasters are beyond the ambit of the study of Astrology or Vaasthu Sastra.
If we study the horoscope of an individual in the light of the Astrological knowledge or if we study a particular place, building or a house in the light of Vaasthu Expertise, we can understand.
If we go to study the Tsunami or Cyclone or any natural disaster in the light of Astrology or Vaasthu Sastra, I am afraid that we are mocking at ourselves and propagating the kind of false belief.
I think, we have to come out of this false belief that Astrology or Vaasthu Sastra should have valid explanations for the natural disasters and that we should not say that for everything Astrology or Vaasthu Sastra has an answer.
We need not be afraid that we should have a valid explanation for all this.
I believe in the philosophy that Astrology and Vaasthu Sastra are oceans that addresses several questions of life - but not all the questions in life.
