If the Girl and the Boy belong the same classification of Ganam, it is most appropriate.  This is known as Eka Ganam.

If the Nakshatras of the Girl and Boy Deva Ganam, or if both of them are Manusha Ganam, it is considered as best matching.

If it is not Eka Gana Nakshatras, if the Girl is Deva Ganam and if the Boy is Manusha Ganam, it is considered as moderately matching.

If the Boy is Deva Ganam and if the Girl is Manusha Ganam, it can also be considered as matching to some extent.

There is a school of thought that if Girl belongs to Manusha Ganam Nakshatra and the Boy is of Deva Ganam Nakshatra, it can be considered as matching if the Boy's Nakshatra is beyond 13 Nakshatras from the Girl.  Some claim that a difference of 7 Nakshatras are enough.

If the Girl is Manusha Ganam and if the Boy is Raajasa Ganam, it is considered as matching if other matching parameters are satisfactory.

Eka Ganam in Raajasa Ganam is not considered appropriate.

Raajasa Ganam of a Girl is described as NOT matching with any Nakshatra, so for as Gana Porutham is concerned.

But, 9 out of the 27 Nakshatras are Raajasa Ganam.  Girl children are born in these 9 Raajasa Ganam Nakshatras.  They have to get married.

If we apply the above principles, no girl child born in any of the 9 Raajasa Ganam Nakshatras will ever get married.

We only have to make a balanced approach.  Generally Raajasa Gana Nakshatras - particularly the Girls are a bit talkative.  It may not and can be common to all.  In a majority of cases, it is so.

Generally Raajasa Ganam Girls and even Boys may not have the way of submissive talk.

Generally they are harmless and innocent.  Only they will not mind who are in the surrounding and whether a matter can be talked in a particular manner in that situation.

This will pose a problem in their relationships - both within the family and outside the family.   People who prefer submissive way of talk will not like this approach.

With a view to overcome this impediment, it is advisable that Raajasa Ganam Girls are matched with other Raajasa Ganam Boys or Manusha Ganam Boys with a difference of over 13 Nakshatras.

This will provide some tolerance between the two.

As prescribed in ancient days, Raajasa Ganam Girls need not be altogether set aside.

If other matching parameters are by and large good, Gana Porutham with respect to Raajasa Ganam should be approached with the above facts in mind.

If there is adequate difference of Nakshatras from the Girl to the Boy, Raajasa Ganam can also be accepted provided other matching parameters agree to a reasonably good extent.
