Vaasthu Sastra
Indian Vaasthu Sastra is universal
It applies to whole of the Earth and not limited to Indian territory.
Vaasthu applies to the Landscapes, Temples, Mutts, Housing Plots, Houses, Flats, portions of the house, Shops, Business Houses, Offices and all premises used for residential or commercial purposes.
It can not be said that Vaasthu addresses all the problems of life. But, it is evident that Vaasthu addresses several problems in life - even such problems which are not so obvious or evident in an astrological study.
The scope of Pariharas in Astrological study is of course limited. But, beyond doubt, Vaasthu provides a solution to a majority of problems in life. This has been and is experienced by several persons.
Vaasthu is independant by itself. It does not depend on the person or persons who own or occupies a house or a place. The house or the place should be prosperous by itself. It should be capable of attracting the positive energies of the universe, so that, the house or place is prosperous by itself whoever owns or occupies the premises.
Vaasthu takes into account the four main directions and the four cardinal corners falling between the main directions.
Now let us see what Vaasthu has to say about a common man's house, flat or portion of a house.
The guidelines given in this section primarily address the needs of a house, flat or a portion of a house, bearing in mind the requirements of a common man.
This section also provides a solution to defective Vaasthu formations which can not be physically corrected for various reasons. For instance, if a particular Flat in an Apartment House is Vaasthu defective, in most cases it can not be physically corrected since it involves the concurrance of all the Flats in that Apartment House, which is rather impractical.
Such places need some kind of an alternate solution which will offset the ill-effects or reduce the intensity of the ill-effects caused by the Vaasthu mal-formation.
The Remedies that can be applied in such cases are also discussed in the chapters of this section.
Vaasthu Sastra considers the four cardinal corners, the four main directions, the position of various accommodations provided in the house including the Brahmma Sthanam in arriving at its conclusions.
It is difficult that all Vaasthu Parameters are applied in a house. But, the must are the must in Vaasthu Sastra in some parameters and some parameters can be compromised with our practical conveniences.
