Vaasthu Sastra - North East Corner

North East Corner can be a source of water. Water can be allowed to flow into the house through this corner. Equally, drainage water can be allowed pass out of the house through this corner.
For instance, a bore-well or deep-well can be there in the North East Corner area. And also, the public (Corporation/Municipal Water Supply line can be taken into the house through this corner. Similarly, the drainage pipes draining used water may be taken out through this Corner.
For the reason that this corner can be the source of water, no overhead water tank should be installed in the top of the house in this corner. This will defeat the basic concept that Easanya Moola (North East Corner), should be light in weight or in weight bearing.
There should be adequate opening in this Corner. The natural universal energy should be allowed to pass into the house through this Corner.
With the above objective in mind, adequate openings like Door and Windows should be provided in this corner.
It should be ensured that there is no nearby construction to this corner, which will obstruct or block the flow of natural universal energy into the house.
Even if one side of the North East Corner (Easanya Moolai) is blocked, atleast the other one side should be open to the air.

The above drawing can be taken as an example. Three Houses, A, B & C are shown in the drawing.
In respect of house "A", there is a building "C" on the Northern Side and another building "C" on the Eastern Side.
The houses B & C block the flow of universal energy into the house "A". We consider this as Easanyam is covered and this is not Vaasthu compliant.
In respect of house "B", though the Northern Side is blocked the Eastern Side is vacant and open to space. This can be taken as partially Vaasthu compliant.
If, at any later time, a building is constructed on the Easern Side and this portion is also blocked, the house "B" which we consider now as Vaasthu compliant will turn out to be Vaasthu Non-Compliant.
Similarly, if the North East Corner is cut or blunted, it is also Vaasthu defective. See the Example Drawings below.
In Drawing - 1 below, the North East Corner is not finished with a sharp angle - instead, the North East Corner is blunted. This is defective.
In Drawing - 2 below, the North East Corner is cut towards the inner side as if the North East Corner is split into two pieces. This is also Vaasthu defective

Both the above two shapes are Vaasthu defective and should be avoided.
